I shouldn’t tell you that the trend is you friend should I ? One of the hottest trends that’s taking place in the online arena is video marketing. The talk of the town around the online arena is that video marketing will increase sales, signups, leads, traffic(you’re dead in the water without it), conversion rates and more compared to plain text. Well Paul, what’s your point? First of all, I would like for you to click on this video squeeze page. If you click on the blue video skin, you’ll see a video for the 5 Bucks A Day Program. Now take a look at the following video:

It’s the same video as in the squeeze page I’ve linked to above only with a few differences, which are obvious. The video contains 3 buttons. One is an order button, a details(more information) button and a button to direct people to Video Direct Pay, which is the software I’ve used to add these buttons to the video. Both videos are in flash format. However, there are two formats of flash. The first type is .swf format and the other is .flv format. The original video is in .swf format. However, Video Direct Pay requires the .flv format. So how did I solve this problem of converting .swf to .flv?

As a part of my Unselfish Marketer Membership, I have access to Video Web Wizard, a software that allows you to convert your videos into web format. It supports FLV, AVI, MPG, 3GP, MOV, WMV, and others until I’ve tried to use the .swf format with Video Web Wizard. I received an error message that stated could not get the media info for the file. Input string not in correct format.

The next best thing since I believed that Video Web Wizard wasn’t working, was call on my business associates at Jon Olson’s Net Marketing Forum. Here’s the following post which led me to converting the video from .swf format to .flv format.

I’ve followed the instructions in that post and used Video Direct Pay to bring you this newly modified video for the 5 Bucks A Day Program.

Now I’m not saying that Video Web Wizard doesn’t work it does because after I’ve finished using the software recommended in the Net Marketing Forum post, I’ve used that already .flv format and converted it into .flv format with a video player that way my visitors will in total control over the play and stop buttons. I plan to modify the original squeeze page so this video can be on there. I’ll do that later.

As far as the Video Direct Pay software goes, it sells for $97 a pop. If you do to the Warrior Forum, you can get it for $27. As a part of my Unselfish Marketer Membership, I got it for $17. This offer expired on June 25th 2008.
